Tis the Season of Finals

Well for some of us finals are upon us and that means a lot of fun and a lot of work. Finals bring headaches, long nights, hours upon studying material, and no life for a week. Leaving the testing center totally exhausted you look at the screen and you either see the grade you were expecting or a big reality check you had no idea what you were doing in there. For me I hope I can look at that screen and see the grade I was hoping for. The countless hours in the library, in the classroom, come down to this one test that has everything in the balance. For those who are done with school and finals look at us taking them and pity and if you have no heart laugh at us because you are now finished. We in college look up to you who are done and wish we can skip the next few years and be in the work place. But alas college is where we are and we cannot change that, neither can we change our grade but we are the ones that hold all of the cards.

As for me I need a strong showing in all of my classes. Especially in my accounting class where I need at least a 90% to get my B+, that means out of my 36, 250 point final I can miss only three questions...sounds easy huh? Well it is not, but like I said earlier I hold all the cards. Geography...ah yes geography one of my least favorite classes. Our final is 100 points with two essay questions each worth 50 points. Humanities is part comprehensive but I am not too worried about this final I love my humanities class so I will dominate this final. Same with New Testament, I have a greater appreciation of the Gospels and what Jesus taught in those sacred versus, and chapters. My Information Systems final will once be again definition based and hard. We need to know well over 150 definitions. Which to some of you may seem not very many, but as you can tell from reading my Blog I do not have the best grammar skills let alone a big vocabulary. All in all this semester has been fun my highest grade will probably be an A in both Humanities and New Testament. I should get a B+ in Accounting, and hopefully in Information Systems as well if the cookie crumbles the right way. Finally a B in Geography a solid B at that though which is fine for me.

Please those who are done with school and do not have to worry about finals anymore think of us who do and remember us in your prayers. Even though you may be done there are those behind you that need all the help we can get just like how you pleaded for help from those who were older than you. God bless you all.
