Alright I have been messing around with next semesters schedule even though I cannot apply for classes until November 7th. I am taking a busy schedule and hopefully will have enough time for everything that I want and need to do. I have scheduled a religion class but if school starts kicking my trash then I will be dropping that class and just working on school. The classes I am taking are Accounting 200 with Nemrow, Humanities 202 with Parry, Math 119 with Robertson, ISYS 202 with Hansen, and New Testament 212 with Parker (he is the man). Three of those classes are prerequisites for various majors within the Marriott school. Also the best thing ever invented is ratemyprofessor.com I am just saying it is pretty amazing and has helped me pick teachers I think will work best with my personality and skills.
School is going well, I took a NT quiz today and rocked that mug. I also am doing well in all of my classes with high B's and even the occasional A. Things are looking up and I am loving life.

Danté
Well a few weeks ago Scott decided that he needed to have more fun in his life so he bought a dog. When we moved in the landlord told us no pets ESPECIALLY NO DOGS!! When I walked into my bathroom one day after a long day of school and saw dog food and the bathroom smelled like pee i knew something was up. Scott's dog is Danté and he is a cute little thing but he pees everywhere and craps everywhere as well. I cannot wait for our landlord to find out and yell at Scott. Also Scott just leaves his dog at our house and expects us to take care of it while he is with his girlfriend or off doing whatever Scott does during the day. Since he does not work or go to school.

Exciting news
A few weeks ago I had to write a paper in my Humanities class over the Greek tragedy Medea. As all of you know I probably have the worst writing skills, as you can tell by reading my blog, but I did take a writing class over the summer and the class has helped me out. I checked my grade on the paper on Friday and I got an 84 out of 100. I was happy and felt good about the whole thing. Today I got my paper back and on my paper it said that if I let her use my paper for future semesters then she will give me 10 extra points on my paper, now I got a 94 out of 100 on my paper. Those things do not happen to me because I am not a strong writer, I was happy that my writing has improved some enough that my teacher is willing to use it for future classes.

More about accounting...
Well I do have a few options with accounting and having that be my degree. I have looked into the program at BYU-Idaho and even emailed the head chair person over the program about the program. He told me that there is no application for the program, here are his exact words
"Thanks for your email. We do not have applications for the BYU-Idaho Accounting Program. If a student is admitted to BYU-Idaho, they can choose whatever major they want. As long as a student gets at least a C- in our courses, they can continue in the program. Our charge is to take ordinary students and help them achieve extraordinary things. To that end, we do not take applications."
I really enjoy that second to last line, take ordinary students and help them achieve extraordinary things. I looked at the website and I need 150 hours before I take the CPA exam so they recommend that their students either get a MAcc or a MBA. I could try and get into the MAcc program at BYU or somewhere else. My other option is to work my butt off and get the grades I need write an amazing essay and get into the program here at BYU and just dominate everything.

I DID IT!!!
Well I decided to be like the rest of my siblings and get a Blog. I like it so far cause I can write on it and just talk about what I am up to. Yesterday I took my accounting test and I felt confident about the whole thing but I got a 56% and I felt like crying when I walked out of the Testing Center. All that I can say is I got a better grade this time than my first test in my other accounting class. I talked to a counselor and she told me I have a small chance of getting into the accounting program. I am retaking an accounting class during the winter and taking an Information Systems (Isys) class as well this winter. I am going to apply for 3 programs in May, the accounting, ISYS, and the management programs and just pray that I get into one of those so I can stay here at BYU. I am working even harder now in my accounting class and just praying that I will receive some mercy and get into the accounting program here.
